Our client in the Netherlands is looking for an Engineer Electrical Lighting.
You will be responsible from the initial system design (Basic Design) to working out all the technical details (Detail Engineering).
Tasks & responsibilities
You are responsible for designing extensive lighting and domotics systems on board luxury yachts.
You will report directly to the Manager Engineering Yachts. It is an engineering position but also you provide support when needed during production, installation or commissioning.
You will independently design lighting/domotics systems on board in Eplan P8 en Autocad2D.
You will coordinate the designs with the customer. You will support designs with calculations.
You will take care of verification by inspection authorities such as Lloyd's and GL/DNV.
Profile
Technical knowledge & soft skills
Knowledge and experience with Eplan and Autocad2D is an advantage.
You minimally have a bachelor degree in a technical field, by prefence Shipbuilding or Maritime Engineering.
Affinity with the maritime world and yachts is a must.
You are crazy about technology or innovation.
Experience with electrical design and programming of home automation systems.
You have an excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
