Job description

You will work on offshore energy projects in the Netherlands & Scandinavia.

The focus is on challenging or nearshore areas with limited water depth. In addition, you will play a role in decommissioning first generation offshore wind farms.

In exchange for your work, we offer you a salary based on experience.

  • You will definitely work at the office on Mondays, and the rest of the days you will work hybrid.
  • If relocation is needed, we provide help to search for affordable accommodation.
  • Compensation for commuting costs: (own car / public transport / bike)

Fortunately, we can count on you for the following:

You will be involved in foundation installation (installation engineering) and decommissioning of first-generation offshore wind farms.

  • You draw up method statements, working methods, method deck layouts, and ballast plans.
  • You work closely with the partner for drawing work and strength calculations, and act as a liaison between teams.
  • You keep technical documentation up to date, plan everything carefully, and include all details in your calculations.
  • You identify potential bottlenecks and proactively devise solutions to address them, while respecting tight deadlines.
  • You build bridges between internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the right working methods, employees, and equipment are available when needed.

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a Heavy Lifting Engineer?

  • You have a master's degree in maritime technology, offshore engineering, or hydraulic engineering.
  • You have gained your first work experience in offshore.
  • You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
