MULTI.engineering is currently looking for an Integration Engineer Marine Systems to join the team of our client in the area of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

In this role, you will be at the heart of designing and integrating complex marine systems for naval vessels, collaborating closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams throughout the engineering phase. From defining system configurations to ensuring smooth integration, you will play a pivotal role in creating ships and enhancing existing vessels.

Your involvement spans the entire lifecycle of naval projects from proposal and acquisition to production and testing.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Define and select marine system configurations and components for proposals;
  • Develop technical specifications based on customer and design needs;
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards;
  • Review and manage supplier documentation, such as drawings and schematics;
  • Coordinate with internal teams to optimize system integration;
  • Draft essential documents, including system descriptions and testing procedures;
  • Verify product performance through simulations and inspections;
  • Provide technical support during shipyard activities as needed;
  • Mentor colleagues and contribute to design reviews and knowledge sharing.

Profile

Technical knowledge & soft skills

  • You have minimum a bachelor in a relevant technical field;
  • You have at least 3 years’ experience in marine systems, ideally in naval, offshore or commercial shipbuilding;
  • You have experience in managing complex projects, including working with regulatory bodies, vendors, and subcontractors;
  • You are fluent in English. Dutch is a plus;
  • You have EU citizenship.

MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Tender Engineer Maintenance for a long term project at our clients location in The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You are responsible for the conceptual and contract design of the Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support plan; You contribute to requirements analysis and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create a commercially viable and attractive proposition; After a successful tender, you are responsible for a smooth transition of your work towards our clients (ILS) engineering and service departments.
