MULTI.engineering has specialized within the maritime and offshore sector for almost 30 years. From our offices in Belgium, the Netherlands and Slovakia, we work on innovative engineering projects. We are expanding rapidly and as part of this growth within the current (EU) markets (where there is still a lot of growth potential), but also certainly in the context of development outside Europe ( USA, Middle - East and China).

What do we offer you as Business Development Manager?

In return for your hard work, we offer you a € salary based on experience and education.

In addition to a fixed salary, there is a variable pay package that evolves with your sales results.
This employment can start from 32 hours.

Sliding hours (start between 7am-9pm)

You actively look for new customers and projects. You think beyond today and see opportunities where others may not see them. You bring MULTI.engineering into companies we do not yet work with.
You maintain and strengthen relationships with our existing customers and help them further with their engineering needs, with or without the support of technical expertise from our engineering offices.
You follow up on quotes and contracts and make sure we win deals - the technical development is done by others.
You are a bridge builder: you understand customer needs and translate them to our internal engineering team.
You contribute to the visibility of MULTI.engineering through social media, trade journals and events.
You represent MULTI.engineering at (inter)national fairs and seminars.

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a Business Development Manager?

You have a master's degree or master thinking level
You have experience in the sales world.
You are willing to travel (US, Asia, ...so also outside Europe).
You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.
Experience or affinity with the yacht, dredging or offshore sector is an asset.

Naval Architect

What do we offer you as a Naval Architect? In return for your hard work, we offer you a € salary based on experience and education. You can work one day from home. We will help you find affordable accommodation if you need to relocate. Luckily, we can count on you for the following: You contribute to projects involving new builds, conversions, and refits of vessels, ranging from workboats to +130m megayachts. You can perform structural calculations for both local and global ship constructions. You perform these calculations for steel and aluminum structures: statics, buckling, modal, optimization You take responsibility for integrating deliverables into the ship design, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Structures detail Engineer

You can prepare production drawings. You maintain the Material Take-Off (MTO). You provide engineering information package and tooling instructions. You manage and order raw materials efficiently. You indicate quality controls according to the testing and inspection plan Oversee and manage the workflow of the structural manufacturing process.

Technical Author shipbuilding

During the lifecycle of a military ship, it is vital that all installations and systems are continuously up-and-running. It is important to prevent break-downs or temporary inactivity. What do we offer you as a technical author shipbuilding? In return for your hard work, we offer you a € salary based on experience and education. We offer you sliding hours (7u-9u). You can start between these hours. If relocation is need, we provide help to search for affordable accommodation. Luckily, we can count on you for the following: You will prepare technical documents in a structured framework, according to prescribed formats. You will collect logistic information from texts, drawings, diagrams, lists, specifications, manuals, 3D models, P&IDs, colleagues, and reports. You can create system-level documentation based on input from the Engineering team. You can modify illustrations to enhance documentation clarity. Input information into software systems in compliance with international standards S1000D and S2000M. You meticulously scrutinize every ship system making tailored maintenance plans that drive peak performance. These preventive maintenance plans will ensure the efficiency of the military ships during the whole life-cycle. You will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare and tool is in the right place at the right time. General ILS work will include analyzing maintenance plans/tasks, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support, including special tools & test equipment, and training.
