Job description

MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Design & Proposal Engineer Marine Diving Vessels for a project of 15 months (extension possible) at our clients location (Rotterdam area) in The Netherlands. This concerns an innovative project because the vessel will be built dual fuel (methanol / diesel) and the purpose will be to dive. This means a lot of complex systems have to be installed in a tight space. Dimensions are limited because the vessel will be operating mainly in inland waters.

Tasks & responsibilities

You will design the vessel according to the clients criteria (draw up line plans, assess ship strengths, establish main classifications, technical specifications, etc);
You will draft general plans, write specifications and draw up procurement specifications;
You collaborate with internal departments and external partners for optimal project results;
You set up project plans, including milestones, and calculate supplemental work and cost savings.

Profile

Technical knowledge & soft skills

You have a bachelor degree in Engineering, Maritime or in another technical field;
You have EU citizenship because of the military nature of the project;
You look back at minimally 3 years working experience in a similar position
You have excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
You are (preferably) familiar with software packages such as Rhinoceros, Maxsurf, Pias, Cadmatic, etc.

Tender Engineer Electrical & Automation

Tasks & Responsibilities: As a Tender Engineer for Electrical & Automation, you will: Design electrical and automation systems for state-of-the-art naval vessels; Define system architectures, electrical load balances, and propulsion system configuration for the design and tender package. Work in a multidisciplinary team to create innovative, commercially viable solutions; Prepare compelling technical documents and specifications; Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

ILS Facilitator marine projecten - 3 jarig project

De business unit Maritime & Offshore levert diensten aan een breed scala van markten en opdrachtgevers (Yachting, Dredging, Leisure, Offshore, Naval, Commercial en workboats). Wij zijn momenteel op zoek naar ILS Facilitators die ervaring hebben met het onderhouden van scheepssystemen. Onze opdrachtgever is verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden van de systemen aan boord van hun vloot. Met als doel de operationele gereedheid van de vloot te kunnen garanderen. Het betreft een langdurig contract (3 jaar) op de locatie van onze klant in het noorden van Nederland (gevraagde inzet 4 tot 5 dagen per week, thuiswerk na inwerkperiode bespreekbaar). Je bent werkzaam in een toegewijd team binnen de vakgroep facilitair onderhoud. De taak van de vakgroep is het in stand houden en adviseren omtrent alle productiemiddelen en procesinstallaties. Daarnaast verzorgt de vakgroep het beheer en de expeditie van de gereedschappen en algemene technische ondersteunende middelen. Je bent o.a. verantwoordelijk voor: - Het opzetten van een ILS-strategie voor een (deel)wapensysteem; - Het uitvoeren en vastleggen van ILS-element specifieke analyses; - Het structureren van gegevens en gegevens stromen; - Het ontwikkelen van kennisproducten (werkinstructies, trainingsmaterialen, sjablonen, toolmentors, check listen, lessons learned); - Het verzorgen van training.
