Job description

We are looking for an engineer maintenance plans to join our shipbuilding client in The Netherlands.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • You meticulously scrutinize every ship system making tailored maintenance plans that drive peak performance. These preventive maintenance plans will ensure the efficiency of the military ships during the whole life-cycle;
  • You'll learn how to analyze maritime risks ( RAM and FMECA calculations) to help avoid breakdowns during military operations, contributing to mission success;
  • You will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare and tool is in the right place at the right time.

General ILS work will include analyzing maintenance plans/tasks, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support, including special tools & test equipment, and training.

Profile

Technical knowledge & soft skills

  • You preferably have two years’ sailing experience in the Marine Engineering, Offshore or Shipping industry;
  • Either you have relevant experience with maintenance on board of ships or in an industrial environment or you have experience in the development and execution of ILS packages;
  • You have a bachelor degree with a technical focus or equal based on work experience;
  • Years of sailing as a mariner (machinery-focused) is a plus;
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written). Dutch is a plus;
  • You have European citizenship and can present a statement of good conduct.
