As a Naval Architect, you will play a crucial role in ship design and the delivery of the tender package. You will be responsible for developing naval architecture design solutions into a set of requirements during precontract activities.

You can perform design & development activities.
You can execute requirements analysis, concept generation, general arrangement design, weight estimations, stability calculations, resistance and propulsion calculations, and main ship balances.
You evaluate new concepts and take care of the corresponding reporting.
You write technical documents, specifications for equipment, contract specifications, reports, and make presentations to visualize the calculations & concepts.
You ensure effective communication with all relevant stakeholders so that input can be included in the specialized calculation

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a Naval Architect in the Netherlands?

Master or bachelor degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical study.
At least three years of relevant experience in a variety of design concepts and practices
Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.

MULTI.engineering is een Belgisch-Nederlands bedrijf met meer dan 30 jaar ervaring in de Maritieme & Offshore sector. Wij ondersteunen onze klanten in ontwerp, engineering, projectmanagement en supervisie van scheepsbouw projecten. Wat bieden wij aan jou aan als Piping Designer? In ruil voor je harde werk bieden we je een salaris van € op basis van ervaring. 1-2 dagen thuiswerken na inwerkperiode. Gelukkig kunnen wij rekenen op jou voor het volgende: Als tekenaar maak je deel uit van het team dat zich focust op maritieme projecten binnen piping en mechanica. Je zal één op één samenwerken met de teamleader en jouw skills zullen de projecten naar een hoger niveau tillen. Je tekent & ontwerpt 3D-pijpleidingmodellen en lay-outtekeningen voor offshore vessels, superyachts,.. Je helpt bij het opstellen van aansluitlijsten en isometrische tekeningen. Job | Electrical Engineer | Maritime & Naval Systems | Rotterdam

As an Electrical Naval Engineer, you design, route, and integrate complex cabling systems on advanced naval vessels. From sensors and power distribution to mission-critical weapon systems, you translate functional designs into physical cable routes that are safe, serviceable, and ready for production. You work in 3DEXPERIENCE within the V-model, balancing EMC requirements, separation rules, bending radii, and installation feasibility. You collaborate closely with Electrical, Outfitting, and Mechanical teams to deliver designs that shipyards and installation crews can trust. What you’ll do: Engineer the details Design and document cable routes, cable lists, and interface definitions based on functional descriptions and system architecture. Design for compliance Ensure cabling meets EMC, fire safety, separation, shielding, and mechanical protection standards. Integrate across disciplines Align cable routing with physical space and construction constraints together with Electrical, Outfitting, and Mechanical teams. Standardize and improve Develop and maintain cabling standards, calculation templates, and design methodologies. Embed vendor inputs Review supplier documentation and integrate vendor cabling requirements into the ship design. Enable production Deliver detailed routing drawings, bills of materials, and clear installation guidelines for the shipyard.

Job | Mechanical Engineer | Shipbuilding

What can we offer you as a Mechanical Engineer Shipbuilding ? In return for your hard work, we offer you a € salary based on experience and education. Compensation for commuting costs: (own car / public transport / bike) You will receive one day working from home. You will work on the project for 6–12 months. Fortunately, we can count on you for the following: You develop and engineer mechanical systems and components for submarines. You create 3D models and detailed designs using Autodesk Inventor. You perform structural and strength analyses in ANSYS, including the evaluation of various load cases and operating conditions. You will take responsibility for supporting and mentoring junior engineers. You translate functional requirements into robust mechanical designs that meet performance, safety, and quality standards. You collaborate closely with team members to exchange ideas, review designs, and ensure integrated engineering solutions. You contribute to technical documentation, reports, and design reviews.
