You work closely with project teams and play a key role in the manufacturability and feasibility of each yacht, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
You develop and refine detailed engineering designs, 3D models, and technical drawings.
You ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications.
You conduct technical assessments to guarantee manufacturability and feasibility..
You collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and project leads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be an Outfitting & Exterior Engineer for Superyachts?

2-5 years of experience in yacht or shipbuilding projects
A Bachelor or Master education in Naval Engineering or related study.
Relevant software knowledge of Siemens NX or Cadmatic.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering environment within a leading superyacht builder, working closely with production teams in a yard setting. The role focuses on detail design and production support, acting as a technical interface between engineering and execution. Your challenge Deliver piping designs that are compliant and technically sound. You ensure traceability from 3D model to installation, resolving bottlenecks before they impact build progress, while maintaining consistency across documentation and standards. What you’ll do Develop detailed piping designs and 3D models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and buildability Review and validate drawings and technical documentation prior to release, safeguarding engineering quality Act as the interface between engineering and production, resolving technical queries and supporting execution on site Support and coach junior engineers where needed, providing practical guidance on technical challenges Ensure compliance with classification society rules, flag state requirements, and internal standards Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks through coordination with multidisciplinary teams Contribute to the improvement of engineering standards, methodologies, and tools

Job | Project Engineer Offshore | Utrecht

Je zal werken aan offshore energieprojecten in Nederland & Scandinavië. De focus ligt in uitdagende of nearshore gebieden met beperkte waterdiepte. Daarnaast speel je een rol in het veilig en duurzaam ontmantelen van verouderde offshore windparken op zee. Wat bieden wij jou aan als Project Engineer Offshore? In ruil voor jouw werk bieden wij jou een € salaris aan op basis van ervaring. Je werkt maandag zeker op kantoor, de rest van de dagen werk je vanuit thuis. Gelukkig kunnen wij op jou rekenen voor het volgende: Je houdt je bezig met fundatie-installatie (installation engineering) en decommissioning van offshore windparken van de eerste generatie. Je stelt method statements, werkmethodieken, methode deck layouts en ballastplannen op. Je werkt nauw samen met de partner voor tekenwerk en sterkteberekeningen, en fungeert als liaison tussen teams. Je houdt technische documentatie goed bij, plant alles zorgvuldig en neemt alle details op in je berekeningen. Je identificeert mogelijke knelpunten en bedenkt proactief oplossingen om deze aan te pakken, terwijl je strakke deadlines respecteert. Je zal projecten van A tot Z kunnen opvolgen en je wordt onder de vleugels genomen van een projectmanager. Je slaat een brug tussen interne en externe belanghebbenden om ervoor te zorgen dat de juiste werkmethoden, medewerkers en apparatuur beschikbaar zijn wanneer dat nodig is

Stage | Piping Designer Scheepsbouw | Vlissingen

Gelukkig kunnen wij rekenen op jou voor het volgende: Als tekenaar maak je deel uit van het team dat zich focust op maritieme projecten binnen piping en mechanica. Je zal één op één samenwerken met de teamleader en jouw skills zullen de projecten naar een hoger niveau tillen. Je tekent & ontwerpt 3D-pijpleidingmodellen en lay-outtekeningen voor offshore vessels, superyachts,.. Je helpt bij het opstellen van aansluitlijsten en isometrische tekeningen. Je werkt mee in verschillende projectfasen: van concept tot detailontwerp. Je leert onze MULTI-methodiek kennen en toepassen om mee te waken over de kwaliteit van de projecten
