MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Project Engineer Heavy Lifting for a project near Utrecht in The Netherlands. This can become a long term opportunity.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Involvement in the process from A-Z (projects are in relation to decommissioning and installation);
  • Contribution in tender phase;
  • After reward continuing with engineering process (stability/lifting/structural calculations and more);
  • During operational phase presence on site can be an option;
  • visiting subcontractors and engineering partners;
  • writing procedures and manuals;
  • co-operating with the rest of the project team.

Profile

Technical knowledge & soft skills

  • Msc degree in offshore engineering, mechanical engineering, maritime engineering or similar;
  • 3 - 5 years experience in the Offshore / Marine Engineering sector;
  • A good communicator, positive mentality and willingness to learn from others;
  • Good command of the English language (written and oral);
  • Willing to travel during the execution of the project.

Je moet technische documentie goed bijhouden, alles zorgvuldig plannen en alle details opnemen in je hijsberekeningen. Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor de pré-engineering en het opstellen van lifting plans, waarbij je nauw samenwerkt met de tekenkamer. In de uitvoeringsfase ga je mee op zee, waar je toezicht houdt en ervoor zorgt dat alles volgens plan verloopt Je zorgt dat de veiligheid van de arbeiders en het milieu gewaarborgd blijft tijdens het gehele ontmantelingsproces. Je identificeert mogelijke knelpunten en bedenkt proactief oplossingen om deze aan te pakken, terwijl je strakke deadlines respecteert. Je bent in staat om de projectmanager te assisteren bij het waarborgen van contractuele afspraken en samen met de kapiteins zorg je voor een vlekkeloze operationele logistieke ondersteuning van onze schepen.

Your Role Logistics Coordination & Technical Oversight You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the logistics flow of technical equipment from the Netherlands to international shipbuilding locations. The role combines logistics coordination with technical oversight, ensuring that equipment is delivered on time, correctly labeled, fully documented, and compliant with project and customs requirements. Key Responsibilities Transport, Customs & Equipment Handling Coordinate the transport of technical equipment to international destinations Arrange national and international transport Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation Ensure correct labeling of all equipment and materials Guide shipments through customs and clearance processes Support back-office activities by creating and maintaining overview lists and logistics schedules Act as a link between engineering, suppliers, transport companies, and shipyard stakeholders Requirements Experience in Maritime or Offshore Logistics Experience in a logistics, transport coordination, or technical superintendent role is preferred Background in maritime, offshore, or heavy equipment projects is an advantage Familiarity with international shipping and customs procedures Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working from both an office environment and on-site at suppliers Good command of the English language, spoken and written

Job | Engineer maintenance plans | Vlissingen

We are looking for an engineer maintenance plans to join our shipbuilding client in The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You meticulously scrutinize every ship system making tailored maintenance plans that drive peak performance. These preventive maintenance plans will ensure the efficiency of the military ships during the whole life-cycle; You'll learn how to analyze maritime risks ( RAM and FMECA calculations) to help avoid breakdowns during military operations, contributing to mission success; You will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare and tool is in the right place at the right time. General ILS work will include analyzing maintenance plans/tasks, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support, including special tools & test equipment, and training.
