You oversee the final design, detailed engineering, and 3D modeling to ensure accuracy and quality.

You guide and mentor a team of engineers and apprentices, providing technical direction, inspections, and coaching.
You ensure compliance with industry regulations, classification societies, and flag state requirements.
You identify and resolve technical bottlenecks by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
You maintain engineering quality by reviewing drawings and documentation before submission.
You assist in developing and improving engineering standards, methodologies, and innovation.

In this role you will mainly focus on production support and will be the link between Engineering and production.

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a Senior Engineer Piping for Superyachts?

Minimum 3 years of experience in yacht or shipbuilding projects
A Bachelor or Master education in Mechanical Engineering or related study.
Relevant software knowledge of 3D Autocad, Teamcenter and Cadmatic

We are looking for an engineer maintenance plans to join our shipbuilding client in The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You meticulously scrutinize every ship system making tailored maintenance plans that drive peak performance. These preventive maintenance plans will ensure the efficiency of the military ships during the whole life-cycle; You'll learn how to analyze maritime risks ( RAM and FMECA calculations) to help avoid breakdowns during military operations, contributing to mission success; You will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare and tool is in the right place at the right time. General ILS work will include analyzing maintenance plans/tasks, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support, including special tools & test equipment, and training.

You will create and update P&ID's for piping systems on board of the vessel. You prepare technical space layouts, systems diagrams and outfitting arrangements. You will prepare and assess technical specifications for piping systems diagrams and equipment. You are able to coordinate the outsourcing of work to subcontractors.

Job | Technical Superintendent | Superyachts

Your role in the team The Technical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operational, technical, and financial management and will act as key contact person internally and externally for all yacht related communication. You work under the Head of Fleet Management. Fortunately, we can count on you for the following: You are the first point of contact for technical matters and follow up on all aspects of statutory compliance and vessel classification You define, review, and monitor the annual OPEX and drydock proposals, as well as the yacht’s operating budget You report to the Head of Fleet Management and keep them continuously informed about ongoing activities You review the vessel’s ISM annually in collaboration with HSEQ and the vessel’s crew
