Job description

Design and deliver the structural engineering of the world’s most complex superyachts (50–140 m). You are responsible for analyzing technical structures and materials using the Finite Element Method (FEM).

Fortunately, we can count on you for the following:

You perform detailed calculations and analyses to assess and optimise longitudinal strength, vibrations and structural details.
You use simulations and analyses to evaluate different scenarios and environmental effects, helping to predict the structural integrity of each superyacht.
You prepare clear and detailed reports on your findings, including technical recommendations for the design and production teams.
You coordinate complex analysis activities and ensure overall progress and quality throughout the project.
You collaborate closely with designers, structural project engineers and project managers to achieve the best possible results.
You contribute to the development and optimisation of new engineering tools together with your team.
You manage finite element method work packages and act as the main point of contact for technical questions.

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a Structural Analyst for Superyachts?

You have a degree relevant in the field (Naval Architecture or Naval Engineering).
You have knowledge of FEM applications (Femap, Abaqus of NASTRAN).
You have minimally 4-5 years experience as a FEM Engineer/Structural Analyst.

The ability to clearly present technical information to project managers, designers, and clients alike. Strong reporting skills are important for documenting findings.

Twee dagen thuiswerk per week na inwerkperiode. Gelukkig kunnen wij op jou rekenen voor het volgende: Je voert berekeningen uit voor onze basic engineering-afdeling, zoals stabiliteit, sterkte en FEM.
