You can utilize Orcaflex to perform detailed motion analysis. Simulate and analyze the dynamic behavior of marine structures, vessels and offshore systems;
You work with cross-functional teams to interpret analysis results and provide recommendations for design improvements;
You can conduct structural assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations;
You collaborate closely with project managers, naval architects, and other engineering professionals to optimize design and performance;
You can provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and clients regarding Orcaflex simulations and analyses.

Profile

Do you have it in you as a Project Engineer Orcaflex?

You have an impressive maritime technical background, with a completed degree in marine engineering. Your expertise is second to none.

4+ years of experience in basic engineering.
A lot of attention will be given to your personal guidance by your Lead Engineer and HR from a both technical and personal point of view;
You can participate to several customized trainings and join the open training offer of MULTI.engineering.

MULTI.engineering is currently looking for an Integration Engineer Marine Systems to join the team of our client in the area of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In this role, you will be at the heart of designing and integrating complex marine systems for naval vessels, collaborating closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams throughout the engineering phase. From defining system configurations to ensuring smooth integration, you will play a pivotal role in creating ships and enhancing existing vessels. Tasks & responsibilities Define and select marine system configurations and components for proposals; Develop technical specifications based on customer and design needs; Evaluate supplier quotations and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards; Review and manage supplier documentation, such as drawings and schematics; Coordinate with internal teams to optimize system integration; Draft essential documents, including system descriptions and testing procedures; Verify product performance through simulations and inspections; Provide technical support during shipyard activities as needed; Mentor colleagues and contribute to design reviews and knowledge sharing.

MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Project Engineer Cable Installation to join the team of our client in the south of The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You assist the tender and project teams with engineering support during both preparation and execution phase. You become part of an international team of 8 cable installation engineers; You perform calculations and Orcaflex simulations for the cable installation analyses to develop installation methodologies and determine limiting criteria; You get the chance to go offshore and perform site visits and site inspections.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders like subcontractors, suppliers, and partners. You will create detailed reports for internal reviews and external approvals.
