Typical projects can involve both basic and detailed engineering for newbuild or refit projects. The vessel types range from a 35-meter workboat to a 120-meter superyacht. You’ll be crucial in managing these projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth timelines, budget control, and overall success.

Project Planning:

  • Oversee and maintain the overall project plan.
  • Define key phases and milestones.
  • Ensure each phase is planned out in detail and take action when adjustments are needed.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor project hours and costs to ensure efficiency.
  • Optimize resources and time for maximum value.

Project Execution:

  • Kick-off projects with a clear internal start.
  • Manage deliverables and ensure everything is completed on time.
  • Hold regular meetings with clients and your team to stay aligned.
  • Guide your team and ensure clear delegation of tasks.
  • Address issues as they arise, keeping the project on track.

Profile

Do you have it in you as a Junior Project Manager for Maritime / Offshore ?

  • With at least five years of experience in Maritime or Offshore, you're now ready to take the next step toward a Project Management role.
  • You have a master degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or equal;
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

In de uitvoeringsfase ga je mee op zee, waar je toezicht houdt en ervoor zorgt dat alles volgens plan verloopt Hierbij staat veiligheid voorop: je zorgt dat de veiligheid van de arbeiders en het milieu gewaarborgd blijft tijdens het gehele ontmantelingsproces. Je identificeert mogelijke knelpunten en bedenkt proactief oplossingen om deze aan te pakken, terwijl je strakke deadlines respecteert. Je bent in staat om de projectmanager te assisteren bij het waarborgen van contractuele afspraken en samen met de kapiteins zorg je voor een vlekkeloze operationele logistieke ondersteuning van onze schepen.

If relocation is needed, we provide help to search for affordable accommodation Luckily, we can count on you for the following: As a Engineer Plans & Arrangements, you will be at the forefront of outfitting engineering, focusing on accommodation and technical spaces. Collaborating with a team of outfitting engineers, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure the functionality, maintainability, and ergonomic design of outfitting arrangements. You execute engineering activities using 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia). You can ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications. You can develop necessary information, including arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings. Develop and describe yard standards to enhance operational efficiency.

Structural Analyst Naval (EU citizen)

We are currently looking for a Structural Analyst Maritime (EU citizen) for a long term project at our clients location in The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You will be in charge of the structural design and in addition make relevant structural calculations during the complete engineering phase. You are involved in the following designs and calculations: General construction plans to detailed calculations and integrated foundations; Calculation’s aspects are strength, stiffness, vibrations, buckling, fatigue, military loads such as blast and signatures aspects (for example inboard- and underwater sound), producibility, maintainability, etc; Occasionally FEM calculations will be applied by the Structural Analyst; You will manage the structural engineers in 3D modelling the structure ending up with checking drawings and production packages.
