IHCTrailer Suction Hopper Dredger ensures access to the port of Montevideo.
This turnkey project solution covered everything from basic and detailed engineering to complete procurement, outfitting, and transportation to Uruguay for assembly.
The fabrication and outfitting of hopper and accommodation blocks was carried out locally, along with the assembly of modules from the Netherlands. Once outfitting was finalized, the project underwent commissioning and trials, ensuring a seamless delivery.

Experience and knowledge within MULTI.engineering ensured that IHC could work very efficiently and with short communication lines.
SPECIFICATIONS
One of our experts designed all the machinery arrangement drawings and provided thorough training to IHC personnel, enabling them to carry out these tasks independently. As part of the Machinery and Piping (M&P) team, he reported to the discipline Lead and contributed to selecting long lead components.
Another expert was responsible for developing outfitting drawings, including stairs, platforms, railings, custom hatches, and small foundations.
She was a key member of the Shipbuilding (SB) team, reporting to the discipline Lead while coordinating with both internal and external project stakeholders.
