You are responsible for the engineering, preparation, and execution of our offshore projects.

You develop detailed method statements for offshore operations.
You review and verify Orcaflex work from the engineering department.
You will create comprehensive work-packs for the preparatory phase of projects.
When on-site, you optimize and implement method statements in practice, taking the lead when necessary.
You address ad hoc project needs and respond to inquiries from project management.
You ensure effective planning, reporting, budget control, and cost monitoring

Profile

Do you have it in you as a Cable Installation Engineer?

You have experience in the area of subsea cable installation projects.

Bachelor / Master degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Dredging or Marine Engineering;

If relocation is needed, we provide help to search for affordable accommodation Luckily, we can count on you for the following: As a Engineer Plans & Arrangements, you will be at the forefront of outfitting engineering, focusing on accommodation and technical spaces. Collaborating with a team of outfitting engineers, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure the functionality, maintainability, and ergonomic design of outfitting arrangements. You execute engineering activities using 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia). You can ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications. You can develop necessary information, including arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings. Develop and describe yard standards to enhance operational efficiency.

Project Engineer Offshore Installation

MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Project Engineer Cable Installation to join the team of our client in the south of The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You assist the tender and project teams with engineering support during both preparation and execution phase. You become part of an international team of 8 cable installation engineers; You perform calculations and Orcaflex simulations for the cable installation analyses to develop installation methodologies and determine limiting criteria; You get the chance to go offshore and perform site visits and site inspections.
