Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Cadmatic Hull Designer to join a 6-month naval engineering project starting January 2026. You’ll be responsible for detailed hull design and production drawings using Cadmatic, working closely with structural and outfitting teams to ensure everything lines up with yard and class requirements.

What You’ll Do

Develop and update detailed 3D models and 2D production drawings in Cadmatic Hull
Prepare arrangement, section, and detail drawings for hull construction
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration
Follow class society and shipyard standards
Support production and resolve issues as needed during the build phase

Profile

What You Bring

Proven experience in hull design using Cadmatic 2D/3D
Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
Knowledge of class rules and shipyard practices
Fluent in English
EU citizenship required due to project restrictions

Duration: 6 months
Location: The Netherlands
Contract: Freelance / Interim

Your Role Logistics Coordination & Technical Oversight You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the logistics flow of technical equipment from the Netherlands to international shipbuilding locations.
