Job description
You will work in an engineering office integrated with the shipyard, maintaining close contact with on-site project teams and production. This setup allows direct validation of progress and visibility of the assets under construction.
Your challenge
You ensure that all financial outputs reflect the technical reality on the ground. By maintaining a clear audit trail from scope through execution to invoicing, you safeguard margin, support client discussions, and enable decision-grade financial control.
What you’ll do
- Analyze quotations, budgets, and contracts to define scope, deviations, and commercial exposure
- Prepare and substantiate final invoices and variation quotes using labor, material, and project data
- Translate completed work into structured, transparent cost breakdowns aligned with agreed methods
- Identify financial risks early and align mitigation strategies with the Project Manager
- Collect and verify additional work and repair data to ensure completeness and traceability
- Maintain accurate financial and project records within the ERP system
- Review and validate final invoices prior to client discussions
Profile
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Shipbuilding, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Understanding of ship repair processes, materials, and tooling
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Good command of English for effective communication in an international environment
- Strong attention to detail and structured working approach
- Commercial mindset with proactive communication skills
- Experience with IFS ERP
- Previous exposure to shipyard or ship repair environments
