You will be coordinating the outsourced detailed engineering scope of steel outfitting which includes stairs, ladders and foundations.
You collaborate with a wide range of engineering disciplines to achieve optimal technical solutions.
You identify challenges early, discuss them with the Multi-Disciplinary Team Lead, and proactively propose effective solutions.
You adapt to evolving project needs and stay up to date with the latest developments in the field.
You contribute to the ongoing development and professionalization of the Plans & Arrangement department.

Profile

Do you have it in you as an Steel Outfitting Engineer in Rotterdam?

At least 5 years of experience in creating steel outfitting.
Passion and experience working with 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks or 3DExperience (CATIA).
Permanent EU citizenship and passport required due to military project requirements

You maintain the Material Take-Off (MTO). You manage and order raw materials efficiently. In Hardinxveld zoeken we iemand die productie ondersteunt met schetsen, fundatietekeningen en praktische oplossingen. Je staat dicht bij de uitvoering, stapt aan boord wanneer nodig en zorgt dat het werk vooruitgaat. Directe start, minstens 6 maanden werk met kans op verlenging. Wat ga je doen? Op de productie ontbreken regelmatig tekeningen van o.a. fundaties in de machinekamer, platformen, ladders en diverse arrangements. Jij neemt dit in handen. Je maakt deze tekeningen volledig in Autocad. Je stemt af met productie om de noden scherp te krijgen. Je gaat indien nodig zelf aan boord om opmetingen te doen. Je zorgt dat productie eindelijk beschikt over duidelijke, werkbare plannen. Er zijn geen vaste standaarden of voorbeeldtekeningen beschikbaar. Je bouwt dus mee aan structuur.
