As a Mechanical Project Engineer - Superyachts near Den bosch, the Netherlands, you will work on mechanical systems for exclusive superyachts, using your experience in work preparation, ERP, 2D AutoCAD P&ID and 3D CAD within an international engineering and production environment. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to the Netherlands.

What You’ll Be Working On:

You will join the Mechanical Engineering discipline within a shipyard environment where exclusive superyachts are engineered and built on site. The production halls are located close to the engineering office, giving you direct insight into how technical decisions, drawings, material data and project preparation affect the yacht under construction.

The mechanical engineering team works on the complete technical design of the yacht, from drawings and engineering preparation through to handover to the crew. You will work closely with Project Leaders, Engineers, production colleagues and other technical disciplines to keep information complete, materials controlled and production preparation on track.

What You’ll Do:

Collect, check and process technical information for mechanical engineering work packages.
Support Project Leaders and Engineers with mechanical technical questions during engineering and production preparation.
Help coordinate engineering input so production can work efficiently and with the right technical information.
Manage and maintain material data in the ERP system.
Support the preparation of mechanical systems, including information related to P&IDs and 3D CAD models.
Monitor progress on technical preparation and help ensure deadlines are met.
Coordinate with colleagues across engineering, production and other disciplines to resolve practical technical issues.
Contribute to an organized and safe working environment by supporting compliance with internal quality, safety and environmental standards.
Help maintain accuracy, structure and traceability in engineering documentation and project information.

Profile

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, gained through education or relevant experience.
Experience with work preparation and project-based engineering work.
Experience in superyacht building, shipbuilding, or maritime engineering.
Knowledge of ERP systems.
Knowledge and experience with 3D CAD and 2D AutoCAD, including P&ID-related work.
Analytical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to keep an overview in complex technical situations.
Good command of English.
Comfortable working with different disciplines in an engineering and production environment.
Familiarity with mechanical systems for vessels or high-end technical projects is preferred.
Experience supporting Project Leaders or coordinating engineers would be useful.

Where You’ll Work: You will work from Vlissingen, where the first year will focus strongly on onboarding, learning the environment, and getting familiar with the engineering processes and PLM landscape. Tasks & responsibilities As a senior piping designer, you are part of the team that focuses on maritime projects within the field of piping and mechanics. You will collaborate one on one with your team leader and your skills will take the projects to a higher level. You are responsible for the correct interpretation of the scope; You draw and design 3D piping models, P&ID’s and lay-out drawings; You participate in the concept development, basic and detail design; You compose the necessary tie in lists and isometrics. Job | Offshore Methods Engineer | Denmark

You will prepare documents and verify working methods for the offshore transport and immersion of tunnel elements, ensuring that execution teams receive clear and safe procedures before operations begin. Where you’ll work: You will work on one of Northern Europe’s largest construction projects: a fixed link that will become the longest immersed tunnel in the world. The Offshore Transport and Immersion work preparation team is responsible for all preparatory works related to the offshore transport and immersion of tunnel elements. This includes coordination with temporary and permanent works design teams, immersion engineering specialists, procurement, execution teams, and offshore marine operations. The role is based in Rødbyhavn, Lolland, Denmark, either full-time or in a 4-week on / 2 weeks off rotation regime. During immersion operations, the role includes offshore involvement. Your challenge: Your challenge is to turn complex offshore transport and immersion concepts into clear, traceable and executable work methods. You will help ensure that procedures, risk assessments, inspection and test plans, procurement specifications and readiness documentation are complete, current and aligned with project requirements, contract obligations and applicable offshore standards. As the project moves from preparation into execution, your focus will shift towards operational support, readiness verification, weather window monitoring and lessons learned. What you’ll do: Develop and detail work methods for the offshore transport and immersion of tunnel elements during the preparatory phase. Document execution methods in work method statements, work procedures, risk assessments and inspection and test plans. Coordinate with design teams, immersion specialists, draftspersons, procurement and execution teams to ensure specifications, drawings and data are current and complete. Prepare technical specifications and quantities for procurement, including marine mooring equipment, lifting accessories, specialised immersion equipment and fabrication packages. Support constructability and safety reviews by aligning working methods with execution constraints, offshore standards and project contract requirements. Advise execution teams during transport and installation activities, including offshore support where required.
