You supports naval architecture-related issues, including on-site assistance.
You review, coordinates, and verifies naval architecture calculations and technical packages prepared by external parties, ensuring full alignment with shipyard standards, project requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
You takes ownership of the weight monitoring process.
You provides technical input for dock plans, launching operations, and transport activities.
You ensures consistency and technical integrity across externally developed naval architecture packages.
You interprets flag state regulations, international codes, and class requirements, translating them into clear and buildable design solutions.
You supports communication and coordination with classification societies and flag administrations.
You assists with surveys, approvals, and regulatory processes throughout the project lifecycle.
You coordinates effectively with internal teams, shipyards, and external stakeholders.

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a Naval Architect for Superyachts?

Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Naval Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in yacht or shipbuilding
Knowledge of superyacht regulations (80m+), international codes, and classification standards is advantage
Experience with large yachts and/or commercial vessels is advantage
Solid understanding of yacht production processes and shipyard constraints

You are responsible for the technical design of yachts based on design plans. You work on hull construction, outfitting, and exterior construction at the highest level of the yachting industry. You gain insight into the entire build process of luxury yachts, as all aspects of construction are carried out in-house. You start with 2D designs in AutoCAD. You will be involved in the entire yacht construction – from technical drawings to communication with production.

Job | Engineering App. Specialist - Cadmatic & PLM | Rotterdam

You work daily with Engineering, Engineering Support, IT, and key suppliers. Your input shapes how projects run, not just how the tool behaves. What you will do Translate engineering needs into clear functional specs for application improvements. Analyse issues with users, stakeholders, and suppliers. You drive solutions to closure. Develop and implement Cadmatic processes and functional improvements. Manage interfaces between Cadmatic and other PLM and CAD applications. Set up and configure Cadmatic project environments for new projects. Manage catalogs, libraries, specifications, and project data structures. Maintain user access rights and role based permissions. Coordinate and deliver Cadmatic training with Engineering Support. Create training materials, tips, documentation, and user manuals. Provide day to day functional support to PLM and CAD users. What you bring Bachelor's level thinking in Engineering, Shipbuilding, or similar, or proven competence. Hands-on experience with Cadmatic and the Cadmatic platform. Understanding of PLM principles. Experience in application management helps. Clear communication in English. Dutch helps, but it is not mandatory. You can work on site in Vlissingen and Zwijndrecht. Hybrid working is possible.

Job | Engineer maintenance plans | Vlissingen

We are looking for an engineer maintenance plans to join our shipbuilding client in The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You meticulously scrutinize every ship system making tailored maintenance plans that drive peak performance. These preventive maintenance plans will ensure the efficiency of the military ships during the whole life-cycle; You'll learn how to analyze maritime risks ( RAM and FMECA calculations) to help avoid breakdowns during military operations, contributing to mission success; You will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare and tool is in the right place at the right time. General ILS work will include analyzing maintenance plans/tasks, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support, including special tools & test equipment, and training.
