Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a PLM Functional Specialist ?

You have a completed degree with Dassault 3Dexperience platform.
Understanding of PLM principles and functional application management.
EU citizenship and a permanent EU passport (a requirement due to the military nature of our projects).

Role: Outfitting Engineer for Superyachts Workplace: Amsterdam region, Netherlands Start: ASAP Duration: Long-term Contract: Employment contract or freelance assignment Focus: Outfitting engineering, exterior outfitting parts, manufacturability, Class and Flag compliance, supplier coordination As an Outfitting Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering of technically demanding outfitting parts on high-end custom superyachts. You will work across design, engineering, production, and suppliers to make sure each item is feasible, buildable, compliant, and delivered to the required quality level. This role is available both as a permanent employment position and as a freelance assignment. Where You’ll Work: You will work in a specialist engineering office connected to a shipyard, focused on custom superyachts over 100 metres. You will be part of a project-driven engineering team, working closely with lead engineers, project engineers, production, purchasing, and external suppliers. What You’ll Be Working On: Your focus will be on outfitting scope for large superyacht projects. This can include exterior outfitting elements such as railings, flagpoles, stairs, jacuzzi and pool outfitting, and other detailed components that must be engineered with care. You will be involved from an early project stage, giving input on technical feasibility, manufacturability, supplier choices, and compliance with project requirements. You will also help maintain standards, best practices, and lessons learned across projects. What You’ll Do: Develop and refine detailed engineering designs, 3D models and technical drawings. Take responsibility for outfitting scope items across multiple yacht projects. Review technical feasibility, manufacturability and buildability. Ensure designs comply with Class, Flag, internal standards and project specifications. Coordinate design input with suppliers, subcontractors and other external parties. Work closely with senior engineers, production teams, purchasing and project leads. Support supplier selection and technical discussions during the purchasing process. Keep track of progress, status and technical risks within your scope. Contribute to cost-saving ideas and smarter engineering solutions. Use lessons learned from engineering, production, refit, services and suppliers to improve future work.

Job | Technical Superintendent | Superyachts

Your role in the team The Technical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operational, technical, and financial management and will act as key contact person internally and externally for all yacht related communication. You work under the Head of Fleet Management. Fortunately, we can count on you for the following: You are the first point of contact for technical matters and follow up on all aspects of statutory compliance and vessel classification You define, review, and monitor the annual OPEX and drydock proposals, as well as the yacht’s operating budget You report to the Head of Fleet Management and keep them continuously informed about ongoing activities You review the vessel’s ISM annually in collaboration with HSEQ and the vessel’s crew

Tasks & responsibilities As a senior piping designer, you are part of the team that focuses on maritime projects within the field of piping and mechanics. You will collaborate one on one with your team leader and your skills will take the projects to a higher level. You are responsible for the correct interpretation of the scope; You draw and design 3D piping models, P&ID’s and lay-out drawings; You participate in the concept development, basic and detail design; You compose the necessary tie in lists and isometrics. You cooperate on engineering projects but you are also involved the stages before and after. You guard the quality of these projects by making use of our MULTI methodology.
