As a Project Manager HVAC, you will be responsible for managing marine HVAC projects from early design through commissioning. You’ll work on advanced cruise vessel projects where comfort, performance, reliability, and technical precision all matter.

Where You’ll Work:

You’ll work from the Rotterdam office on international cruise vessel projects. The environment is technical, collaborative, and project-driven, with regular contact and visits to shipyards, suppliers, production teams, customers, and marine specialists.

What You’ll Be Working On:

You’ll take the lead on HVAC systems for cruise ships, covering the full project cycle from design coordination to commissioning. These systems are essential to comfort, safety, energy efficiency, and reliable operation on board.

The work combines technical HVAC knowledge with project management, supplier coordination, troubleshooting, and customer support. You’ll need to understand both the engineering details and the bigger project picture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead HVAC projects for cruise vessels from design to commissioning.
  • Coordinate with shipyards, suppliers, factories, customers, and marine dealers.
  • Make sure project specifications, quality standards, deadlines, and technical requirements are met.
  • Provide technical support to customers and marine partners.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and control system issues.
  • Help optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Keep communication clear between technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders.
  • Contribute to high-quality HVAC solutions for some of the most innovative cruise vessels worldwide.

Profile

What You Bring?

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with marine or industrial HVAC systems.
  • Experience with cruise ship HVAC systems is a clear advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and control systems.
  • The ability to manage technical projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Good communication skills and a practical, organized way of working.
  • A self-driven mindset and the confidence to coordinate with international stakeholders.
  • A hands-on problem-solving approach when technical challenges appear.
