Role overview

As Technical Coordinator / Work Preparator, you are at the heart of the project. You make sure work is properly analysed, planned, and prepared before it reaches production. You work closely with project management, production, procurement, QC, and subcontractors to keep everything running smoothly on site.

You should be technically comfortable making or adjusting AutoCAD drawings when needed.

Key responsibilities

Planning & coordination

  • Analyse work scopes: what needs to be done, how, when, and by whom

  • Prepare and maintain planning for activities, materials, tools, and manpower

  • Coordinate daily with Procurement, QC, Project Management, Production, Purchasing, and Planning

Technical preparation & support

  • Prepare technical work packages and feasibility assessments

  • Develop technical plans, sketches, and AutoCAD drawings where required

  • Perform site inspections and find practical technical solutions

  • Support heavy transport and lifting operations

  • Provide technical support to QC

Procurement, supervision & documentation

  • Technically assess supplier quotations and monitor deliveries

  • Supervise subcontractors and outsourced activities on board

  • Maintain project documentation in the ERP system

  • Support QC with reports, certificates, lifting plans, test and NDT documentation

Problem solving

  • Provide technical support and solutions to project teams, dock staff, clients, and subcontractors

Profile

What we’re looking for

  • at least 5 years of experience as a Work Preparator, Technical Coordinator, or similar

  • Experience with superyacht projects is a strong advantage

  • Previous work preparation experience in yacht building, refit, or maintenance is highly appreciated

  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams

  • Experience with AutoCAD

  • Good planning and organisational skills

In Hardinxveld zoeken we iemand die productie ondersteunt met schetsen, fundatietekeningen en praktische oplossingen. Je staat dicht bij de uitvoering, stapt aan boord wanneer nodig en zorgt dat het werk vooruitgaat. Directe start, minstens 6 maanden werk met kans op verlenging. Wat ga je doen?
