Design and deliver the structural engineering of the world’s most complex superyachts (50–140 m).

In return for your hard work, we offer you a € salary based on experience and education.

If relocation is needed, we provide help to search for affordable accommodation.
Compensation for commuting costs: (own car / public transport / bike)

Fortunately, we can count on you for the following:

Together with the Project Leader and Draftsmen, you will work on the hull construction, outfitting and exterior construction.

  • You form the crucial link between engineering, production & purchasing department.
  • Based on the yacht designs, you will create detailed technical drawings.
  • You will verify that all drawings are technically correct and meet the high standards of the luxury yacht building industry.
  • Working with suppliers, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials meet industry standards and are received on time.

Profile

Do you have what it takes to be a work preparator for Superyachts?

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in shipbuilding projects
  • A Bachelor or Master education in the field of shipbuilding engineering.
  • Experience in purchasing materials.
  • Relevant software knowledge of 3D AutoCAD and Rhino.

Job | Cadmatic Hull Designer-Superyachts | Rotterdam Area

In this role, your focus is on the hull design of Superyachts. You will work closely with structural and outfitting engineers to deliver production-ready designs that meet shipyard and class requirements. Your work will have a direct impact on the build process, making this a technically engaging position. Your role As Cadmatic Hull Designer, you are responsible for translating design intent into detailed hull models and drawings that can be used directly in production. You are involved throughout the engineering phase and support the yard when questions arise during construction. Compensation for commuting costs: (own car / public transport / bike) Fortunately, we can count on you for the following: You work closely with project teams and play a key role in the manufacturability and feasibility of each yacht, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You develop and refine detailed engineering designs, 3D models, and technical drawings. You ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications. You conduct technical assessments to guarantee manufacturability and feasibility.. You collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and project leads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
