Lead Project Coordinator - Marine Services
Job description
About the Role
We're looking for someone who knows how to run a project from start to finish, someone who can manage the production and installation of propeller shafts, lead repair operations in our shipyard and docks, and keep everything moving on time and on budget. You'll be the key contact for customers, engineers, and procurement, handling every step from the initial offer to the final invoice.
This is a hands-on, role where technical expertise meets people skills. If you’re comfortable leading teams, managing suppliers, and juggling deadlines while keeping communication sharp and clear, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Take full ownership of projects: from the first client call and proposal all the way through planning, execution, delivery, and final billing.
-
Keep operations running smoothly: coordinate the preparation, on-site execution, and post-project follow-up.
-
Lead and manage teams: bring together internal crews and steer subcontractors and suppliers as needed.
-
Monitor quality, timing, and budget: catch risks early and act fast to resolve them.
-
Be the central contact: keep clients informed, report progress, and document agreements clearly.
-
Collaborate across the board: work closely with technical and purchasing departments; report to both the Operations Manager and Project Manager.
-
Make safety a priority: ensure all activities meet our safety and yard (VGM) standards.
