Luckily, we can count on you for the following:

  • You will be involved in the design related to shock (from mines and torpedoes) and underwater-and inboard noise.
  • The ship structure and mounting of system components shall be designed by you. Mounting design will involve frequencies, displacements and accelerations of components and skids.
  • In production phase, you can be involved with full-scale testing and validations on board.
  • You get the chance to be involved in R&D project in this field. These activities include verification's, validations, software development, product -and process development).

Profile

This is where you come in as a Shock & Noise Engineer:

  • You have an impressive technical background, with a completed degree in Naval Architecture/ Aerospace or similar field in Maritime/Offshore.
  • Knowledge of 6-DOF or FEMAP or ANSY

You need to have an EU citizenship, given the military nature of clients and projects.

You execute engineering activities using 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia). You can ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
