MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Tender Engineer Maintenance for a long term project at our clients location in The Netherlands.

Tasks & responsibilities

You are responsible for the conceptual and contract design of the Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support plan;
You contribute to requirements analysis and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create a commercially viable and attractive proposition;
After a successful tender, you are responsible for a smooth transition of your work towards our clients (ILS) engineering and service departments.

Profile

Technical knowledge & soft skills

You have a bachelor degree in a technical field;
You look back at minimally 1 year working experience in a similar position;
You have experience in writing tender packages for the shipbuilding industry;
You have experience with maintenance projects;
You have excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
You have strong writing skills for specific technical documentation;
You have European citizenship.

Structural Analyst Naval (EU citizen)

We are currently looking for a Structural Analyst Maritime (EU citizen) for a long term project at our clients location in The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities You will be in charge of the structural design and in addition make relevant structural calculations during the complete engineering phase. You are involved in the following designs and calculations: General construction plans to detailed calculations and integrated foundations; Calculation’s aspects are strength, stiffness, vibrations, buckling, fatigue, military loads such as blast and signatures aspects (for example inboard- and underwater sound), producibility, maintainability, etc; Occasionally FEM calculations will be applied by the Structural Analyst; You will manage the structural engineers in 3D modelling the structure ending up with checking drawings and production packages.

ILS Engineer Maintenance

During the lifecycle of a military ship, it is vital that all installations and systems are continuously up-and-running. It is important to prevent break-downs or temporary inactivity. This is why we are looking for a ILS Engineer (EU Citizenship) who can help to reduce these risks. What do we offer you as a ILS-Engineer? In return for your hard work, we offer you a € salary based on experience and education. Compensation will be shared during email or telephone conversation. You can start between these hours. You will be part of large and complex maritime projects. If relocation is need, we provide help to search for affordable accommodation. Luckily, we can count on you for the following: You meticulously scrutinize every ship system making tailored maintenance plans that drive peak performance. These preventive maintenance plans will ensure the efficiency of the military ships during the whole life-cycle. You'll learn how to analyze maritime risks ( RAM and FMECA calculations) to help avoid breakdowns during military operations, contributing to mission success. You will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare and tool is in the right place at the right time. General ILS work will include analyzing maintenance plans/tasks, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support, including special tools & test equipment, and training.

In de uitvoeringsfase ga je mee op zee, waar je toezicht houdt en ervoor zorgt dat alles volgens plan verloopt Hierbij staat veiligheid voorop: je zorgt dat de veiligheid van de arbeiders en het milieu gewaarborgd blijft tijdens het gehele ontmantelingsproces. Je identificeert mogelijke knelpunten en bedenkt proactief oplossingen om deze aan te pakken, terwijl je strakke deadlines respecteert. Je bent in staat om de projectmanager te assisteren bij het waarborgen van contractuele afspraken en samen met de kapiteins zorg je voor een vlekkeloze operationele logistieke ondersteuning van onze schepen.
