I am grateful for every day here at the office. I am part of a group where you help each other, part of the company where you are not 1 of the many, but part of the team

Robert Kollarik

How did you end up at MULTI.engineering?

I was a client, I worked for the shipyard in Komarno as a Project Manager. While building a luxurious houseboat, I came into contact with Robert Both and that's how I got to know MULTI.engineering. The reason for the switch to MULTI.engineering was that there was less work at the shipyard and Robert came up with a proposal to come and work for him. In the meantime I have been working here for 10 years.

It is my understanding that you live furthest from the office of all employees. How do you solve this?

I lived in Belgium for a while and after returning from Belgium, we found a house about 100 km from the office. I don't mind the distance; I usually come to Komarno 1 day a week, but depending on the work, it can also be more. Then I stay overnight in Komarno.

Which project are you particulary proud of and why?

There were many projects in the last 10 years. Let me think. 3 vessels sticking out; the first is really the first one I worked on; a floating crane for a customer based on Russian rules, old school. Completely handwritten. I'm proud of that. This crane was also built in Komarno, close to the office so I could follow it closely. The second is a passenger ship, the largest drawn ship in this office. We were worried if we could make it to this level, but we made it. The Katamaran destined for Lake Balaton, was also drawn here.

Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

I am grateful for every day here at the office. I am part of a group where you help each other, part of the company where you are not 1 of the many, but part of the team. I have a strong company behind me and that makes me feel good. With every project I learn something, there are challenges, I push the boundaries, I look for solutions, I look at things together with colleagues. That way I can make progress in my work. Keep it like this, that would be perfect.
