Luckily, we can count on you for the following:

  • You can perform complex calculations (load/power, strength, flow) in the mechanical field.
  • You will create and update P&ID's for piping systems on board of the vessel.
  • You prepare technical space layouts, systems diagrams and outfitting arrangements.
  • You will prepare and assess technical specifications for piping systems diagrams and equipment.
  • You are able to coordinate the outsourcing of work to subcontractors.

Profile

Do you have it in you as a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram Engineer?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., mechanical or piping engineering)
  • Eu Nationality because of military projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marine systems.

Job | Naval Structural Engineer – Hull & FEM Analysis | Rotterdam

In this role, you will be responsible for the structural analysis of hulls and primary ship structures during the basic design phase. You will ensure strength, stiffness, and vibration performance from the earliest stages of design. MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Piping designer ships for our own Design and Engineering Office in Vlissingen, The Netherlands. Tasks & responsibilities As a senior piping designer, you are part of the team that focuses on maritime projects within the field of piping and mechanics. You will collaborate one on one with your team leader and your skills will take the projects to a higher level. You are responsible for the correct interpretation of the scope; You draw and design 3D piping models, P&ID’s and lay-out drawings; You participate in the concept development, basic and detail design; You compose the necessary tie in lists and isometrics. You cooperate on engineering projects but you are also involved the stages before and after. You guard the quality of these projects by making use of our MULTI methodology.

Job | Cost Control Quantity Surveyor | Vlissingen

You will work in an engineering office integrated with the shipyard, maintaining close contact with on-site project teams and production. This setup allows direct validation of progress and visibility of the assets under construction. Your challenge You ensure that all financial outputs reflect the technical reality on the ground. By maintaining a clear audit trail from scope through execution to invoicing, you safeguard margin, support client discussions, and enable decision-grade financial control. What you’ll do Analyze quotations, budgets, and contracts to define scope, deviations, and commercial exposure Prepare and substantiate final invoices and variation quotes using labor, material, and project data Translate completed work into structured, transparent cost breakdowns aligned with agreed methods Identify financial risks early and align mitigation strategies with the Project Manager Collect and verify additional work and repair data to ensure completeness and traceability Maintain accurate financial and project records within the ERP system Review and validate final invoices prior to client discussions
